Refund policy
We want you to be 100% satisfied and happy with the products you purchase from us at DoorsIreland. However, we understand it would be unrealistic of us to think that absolutely every project goes to plan, 100% of the time. We know that there are many other factors at play when you order online, especially for a home renovation or DIY project.
With that being said we have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags and wrapper, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@dubdoor.com. Once your delivery is accepted and processed, you will be responsible for the cost of return. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please include your name, order number and reason for return. Upon the return processed, the original transportation fee will be deducted from the refund. In a case where the transportation fee had been waived originally, it will have to be applied to the refund amount.
If you would prefer, you can also return items yourself to our store. If you wish to do so, you must be accompanied by a copy of you order acknowledgement and we request that you please bring a photo ID (Drivers License or Passport). A refund will be given following the usual procedure, with the amount paid being credited back via the original payment method, as outlined above. We are unfortunately unable to process any refunds in cash, unless the order was originally placed in store via a cash payment. Refunds can only be processed back onto the original payment method.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
As is the nature of the type of products which we offer here at DoorsIreland, there are a select few items which we cannot accept returns on. These items include personalised items, bespoke/special order items and products that have been finished with any of our finishing services.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
- Upon receipt of delivery, please inspect each door for any visible defects. Doors should be stored on a flat and level surface in a dry, well ventilated building. Keep covered and out of sunlight.
- Handle the plastic carefully to avoid scratching the doors.
- Doors should not be subject to : abnormal heat, extreme dryness, humid conditions or sudden changes in environment. The doors should be conditioned to the local environment before before hanging.
- The utility or structural strength of the door must not be impaired in the fitting of the door, the application of the hardware, or cutting or altering the door.
- All doors should be inspected prior to fitting. We cannot accept returns of doors that have been worked on.
- Please do not schedule or start any installation work until after you have received your order and checked all goods for any defects or missing parts. This will enable you to resolve any technical questions or to order specific additional fittings, if needed.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
